I began dancing at the age of 4 at a local dance school in Perth, Dance in Perspective where I learnt jazz, tap, hip hop, Spanish and both CSTD and RAD classical ballet. I was later encouraged to pursue classical ballet more seriously and I trained at The Graduate College of Dance under the direction of Dawn Weller at 15 to further my studies in classical ballet as well as Spanish and contemporary.
At age 16 I was accepted into WAAPA’s full time course and graduated at 17 with a diploma in Dance (Elite Performance) in 2014. I then successfully auditioned for the New Zealand School of Dance and moved to Wellington where I graduated with a Certificate in Dance Performance: Classical Major in 2016.
Whilst at NZSD I completed my Advanced 2 RAD ballet exam with distinction. I am now a dancer with the Victorian State Ballet and have been fortunate to perform in productions such as Swan Lake, Le Corsaire, Cinderella, Snow White and the Adelaide Fringe Festival.
